Where does this episode take place?
At the outskirts of the former Empire. In one of the free cities of the Slithering Canyons.

What do we know about this setting?
The city is primarily located on the mesa overlooking the canyons, however it also has a maze-like tunnel system with populous underground districts. The buildings' architecture's mainly dominated by white, grey and red stone. The city stretches all the way down to the canyon valley, ending in a comparatively small ward near the canyon river. Most of the trade happens here, so merchants don't have to move their goods up to the top through the tunnels.

Each city in this region is ruled by a Shaman, elected by the people. Kait worked in the Library during the mandate of the previous Shaman.

One last important element of the city are the Grand Aviaries located at the top district. People breed and tame Giant Eagles there to ride them and transport cargo over long distances.

Setting synopsis
The city is located on top of the canyon. It has multiple levels underground, and a district at the bottom of the canyon. People of these lands train huge eagles to ride and keep them in gigantic aviaries.
